Course-in-Brief

The course is an introductory course in financial reporting. It covers the basic accounting equation and introduces financial accounting concepts, assumptions, and principles. The Accounting cycle is covered in all its steps starting with preparing journal entries to post-closing trial balance. The main objective of this course is to prepare the set of financial statements for service and merchandising businesses. After covering the accounting cycle in details, the course will cover the presentation of assets, liabilities, and stockholders’ equity. By completing this course, students will have the skills and financial knowledge that facilitates business decision making.

The affiliated University will issue a course completion certificate on course completion and if an online exam is passed. If no exam is taken, the affiliated University will issue a certificate of course attendance.
