Dr. Mohamad Ali Hamandi

Dr. Hamandi holds a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from Universite Jean Moulin Lyon 3, IAE Lyon School of Management, France, a master degree in public health with concentration in hospital health administration from the American University of Beirut, and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the American University of Beirut. Dr. Hamandi is a lecturer of management, patient safety, strategic management, risk management, accreditation and quality in many universities. He is a co-author of many books on management, quality and patient safety. Dr. Hamandi has contributed the "Patient Safety Curriculum Guide" with WHO Head Quarter Geneva and was nominated as the Champion for patient to patients' safety by the World Alliance for Patient Safety. Dr Hamandi is the Assistant CEO of the Makassed General Hospital, in-charge of strategic management, quality, patient safety, and risk management. He is an active member of the executive board of many professional associations in Lebanon and the Arab world including Syndicate of Hospitals and Arab Hospital Federation. Dr Hamandi is an international consultant and expert of healthcare management, patient safety, risk management and hospital administration. He provides consultation to many hospitals, health care institutions, consulting firms, auditing companies, Ministries of Health and international organizations in Lebanon, Gulf region, Africa, Europe and Japan.
