Dr. Mohamad Tarabay

Dr. Mohamad Tarabay holds a DBA degree from Gronoble Ecole De Management, France and both MBA and BS in Banking and Finance from the Lebanese American University, Lebanon. Dr. Tarabay is a Certified Financial Analyst. Dr. Tarabay is an assistant professor of finance and chairperson of the financial studies department at Rafic Hariri University. Prior to that, Dr. Tarabay was the Dean of the college of Business at the American College of the Middle East in Kuwait and the MBA program director at the American University of the Middle East. Dr. Tarabay has more than ten years of progressive career record in business education management and leadership at different academic institutions. He is also a practicing investment analyst with several portfolios under his management. Dr. Tarabay co-authored a number of  academic articles in the areas of risk, direct investments and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Dr Tarabay is an economic analyst, columnist and op-ed write for Zawya Arabic.

As you learn to project a company's financial statements for anticipating its funding needs, you will need to make big use of comprehensive firm analysis, to ensure your projections are not too far removed from the company's current financial position.
