The course provides undergraduate students with principles of quality, theories in quality and their application, measures of quality, as well as the barriers of Quality. The course also introduces the students to different accreditation bodies, and the benefits of being an accredited healthcare organization. The quality course shall also introduce the students to the relationship between the healthcare organization client (patient satisfaction), quality, cost effectiveness.
